Sorry for not having any in-progress pics, it was way to **** cold out to worry about them.

But, here is my first box. It is 4.5^3FT tuned to 34Hz. 50sq. in. of port. Let me know whats you think.

BTW, it's going to be covered in bedliner.

50 square inches of port might be a little low, but it may not be noticeable.

You should put some kinda sealant in there, it looks like you have a place in the 4th picture where some air could get through.

Nice build tho. Good clean box.

Well, I heard 50sq. in. would be sufficient, but I guess I could have heard wrong. I should have noted in my first pos that it is not 100% done, and that I still need to add some sealer. Install pics will have to wait until I can afford my amp.

go to wal mart/lowes/home depot and pick up GE 100% Silicone II Sealant. you can use the kitchen and bath, or the door and window version. same shit really.

just make sure you pick up the II version and not the I. im sure the I will work, but on the back they have a 1-10 rating for adhesion and the I gets a 7 for wood, while the II gets a 10.
