im sorry man, you may be SOL, always tripple check everything to make sure it'll fit exactly as planned... you can't just rush this stuff. planning your box should take a lot longer than it takes to build the box

heres some advice

i know u like your box now cuz a box that big even tuned to 35hz will have decent authority in the low end....assuming u have it tuned no higher than that and sealed the box as well as u can

but my suggestion...your next box make it 24wide x 14high x 14deep...thats around 2.7cubes...after port and sub displacement.,u should alittle over 2cubes

and u will be able to fit it behind your seats instead of a box that takes up half your seat....and on you new box make sure the sub is up and the port is facing the hatch

i gave u 3 tips

1-make your box smaller(24wide x 14high x 14deep)

2-sub up port facing the back

3-tune it anywhere from 35hz and lower

otherwise for your first build...it looks good...alittle more projects and u should be fine

u should build your next box to get more practice

haha yea some comments make me laugh like immacomputer i dont think ive seen him say anything productive
I gave you advice and asked you a few questions; if you think that is not productive, you need to read it again. You avoided them just like you have avoided everybody esles question as to what it is tuned to. The reason? I'm guessing you have no clue and just put in a port panel and left it to random. It also looks like the distance from the back of the port is smaller than the width of the port. This is NOT a good thing to have and will cause a change in tuning.

Your enclosure is shitty and I'm sure it sounds terrible as well but you don't know it yet. You can think I'm just being negative but it is the truth and you need to learn to take criticism if you want to learn anything. Was my first enclosure any better? Hell no. But I was able to take critcism and learn from my mistakes. The enclosures I make now are much better but still not perfect and I'm still learning.

thank you... seriousely

Pic of my first box....4 cubes tuned to 35hz with like 36 sq in of port....gotta start somewhere, right?

That's a first gen eD e15a....the FIRST line of subs they made next to the original e12k's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

not a BAD looking box by any means, but it could certainly improve...next time, if u want the port to be flush with the baffle, make the side of the box where the port is at .75"(or thickness of wood) deeper than the other side, and have the baffle screwed onto the front of the box
