Also, with such a big sub and a wide front baffle, I would double baffle or do a lot of bracing.

dude, it aint that bad, your 1st box is about 5x better than mine was, but like some of the guys are sayin, just practice, you arent goin to be a pro the 1st time. also my one piece of advice......kick your friend in the nuts for that gay *** pose.

Seriously ... my first box was built with 5/8" particle board that had screw holes in it. (Actually, it was a pretty loud sealed box at that)

I didn't know any better. Good thing this kid already knows to use 3/4" MDF and wood glue. He started out with more knowledge then a lot of people.
