Looking better! Keep doing exactly what you're doing and you will get a feel for it. If you have the extra wood, just keep going with it until you feel confident and then work with some real stuff.

My first box was all 7/16 OSB for an 8" Jensen. My second box was 3 different types of wood because it was all I found in the garage. Keep on truckin, you'll build ridiculous boxes in no time.

so my brother says dude i just wanna pop in my kicker and use the box even though its the wrong wood

so i agreed to set it up for him

the particleboard seems to standout too much in black interior in the trunk so i decided to go to osh and buy some paint.

picked up a can of black primer and flat black paint

i am more than happy with the results... it looks almost like carpet, and it also helps blend in the trunk carpet

not bad for $6

it sounds VERY good

well im not a expert but i like the way it hits

nice and clean

not bad for total of 40 bucks

with 1/2 can paint left

more than 50% wood,glue,screws

i put in polyfill also, and it seems to hit harder but doesnt sound clean...mabe b/c i was sitting in the pass side and i got too many coins in the coin box
