He tried and then asked for criticism. We gave him positive criticsim.

looks better then my 1st box in which I used a hand jig saw to cut the wood... and yes they lined up like crap and made one baddd box.

Good job on making something yourself rather than having someone do it for you Your work will improve each and everytime that you build a new box.

Not bad at all man. Whether it looks good or not is only half of the journey, now functionality is obviously what matters, and it sure looks like that box'll do just that. Congrats on your first build!

Yeah, props on trying your own box. When it sounds good too, it's all that more satisfying. BUT if you do try to build another to replace this DO NOT use the particle board. That was probably the single biggest flaw with this box. Don't waste your effort on building a new one without spending the $20 for a sheet of 3/4" MDF

i just worked another box same demsions..

i still used the particle board beucase

i am ONLY building fOR SKILL

not to use the sub in

welp i might gave it away to someone too

this time it workd much better

no splits at ALL!

countersinked the holes and used clamps and didnt extra use the adhesive

i also used a right angled peice to make sure the box was stright

you did use glue though right? You'll find if you search that screws only hold the wood till the glue dries. Getting much better.

Looking better! Keep doing exactly what you're doing and you will get a feel for it. If you have the extra wood, just keep going with it until you feel confident and then work with some real stuff.
