I'm the owner of a 2003 Chevy Avalanche. I have done hours and hours of research on the web, so that I could get the most out of my budget. This is the system that I have put together. Tell me what you think..........

Front Speaker

JBL MS62C 6.5

•RMS Power Range: 80 Watts

•Peak Power Handling: 180 Watts

Rear Fill Speakers

JBL P652

•RMS Power Range: 75 Watts

•Peak Power Handling: 250 Watts

4 Channel Amp

Soundstream REF4.760

760W RMS 4-Channel Class A/B Reference Series Power Amplifier

125 X 4 @ 4-Ohms

10' Subwoofer

Sundown Audio 10" SD-2 10D2 Dual 2-Ohm Subwoofer

500rms @ 2-Ohms

Mono Amp

Hifonics 1500W Class D MonoBlock HF Series Car Subwoofer Amplifier (HFi 1500)

750rms @ 2-Ohms

I would like some of you guys opinion on this system and if there is anything you would change let me know.

I'd ditch the rear speakers, apply that money toward a front set that has some real mid bass. Something like a PHD FB pro set or...

and if you really want some speakers for the rear, go cheap (& good) like a set of Silverflutes mids only.

Having the SS ref amp for the front.....why not use the ref 500 for the sub?

Much better amp vs the HFi 1500....

and x2 on ditching the rear speaker idea....just use the factory speakers and fade them down for "fill". Use the ref 4ch to run your front components active

and you will have a very nice "entry level, budget" start!
