My engine build

I got a kid in my class runnin 2 Integras.. they're pretty sweet little cars. The engines are tweaked but no to the point that this one's going to be it looks like. Should end up being awesome, keep u pthe good work!

I've only scanned the thread, but I can already say...

lol

To the HS kid building a teg, props. Not many HS kids can say that they're building an engine.

To whothe****ever says Honda motors are junk, you're an idiot. Would I build one for a race car? No. Is it possible? Yes, and they're definitely good engines.

To whoever suggested a 1G DSM, remember, this is a HS kid. DSMs need an adult budget, and an adult driver to make them worthwhile. The 4G63 is a bad *** engine, and DSMs are pretty bad *** cars, but not for a HS kid.
lol....hs is late where I come from....

I built the motor in my maverick when I was 14 and assisted my cousin with his H22 in the 4door civic a few years after(BTW this is a very quick car)

and for the 4g63, I played with a lancer that had one n/a and it was quite fun. I agree completely that it is a bad *** motor

Well I finished my homework and just popped the pistons out. Pics are uploading right now.

Edit: Here are the pics.

These are the pistons I wanted. I'll have to go check on how much higher my compression will be with these in my current engine.

I am pretty sure that this engine has very low miles though because the pistons slid out very nicely. There wasn't no noticeable ridge at the top of the block.

Oh yeah, I'm doing the build in my room lol. Our garage was full so I have all my engine stuff up here in my room. I know, I need a haircut //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Nice. I've never been in an h22 car but they're nice.

A friend and I just stripped a Chevy 402 Big Block the other day that I plan on rebuilding for my truck. It's a lot of fun but expensive. Good luck.
Yeah it is a lot of fun. It gives you a big confidence boost, at least for me. Thanks man

mine redline at 8400 and i had the sir b16.. but maybe it had cams and shit. idk it was quick though
I know the limiter starts to bounce around there on most stock b16 ecu's. What was it in?

Great engine and car. My ex-girlfriend has a G2 LS, and it's bone stock and still has an amazing amount of torque for what it is. I kinda wanna get one-- or an MR2. o_o
thanks man. Yeah the LS motors are known for their torque. The car surprised me when I first got it.
