My engine build

I thought I'd post my engine build because there are a few tuners on here who'd may like to see it or people who like building engines. I'm putting a DOHC JDM Honda B16 engine into my integra and will probably use this as my senior project for high school

I have the american b18 in right now but my friend who just graduated is moving to college and sold me one of his spare blocks. It doesn't even have 50K miles on it.

My current engine is this b18 non vtec

And I bought this block about a week ago from my friend. Imported from Japan and tuned for more performance than the ones here.

I just bought a head yesterday from a local shop with some other accessories

the tenzo valve cover is temporary lol.

I was going to do LS/VTEC but my friend gave me a really good deal on the block. The P30 pistons in it are worth about as much money as I bought it for.

Once my LS engine is out, I'm just going to take the throttle body and alternator from it and use those on the b16. One of my friends wants to buy my current b18 in the engine and we're going to make that an LS/VTEC. We'll start that probably next week once this engine is in.

looks to be a straight B16a... i would much rather have a boosted LS/vetec but thats just me

For now just putting it together because I'm also saving up for after high school. I'll be building it in small increments. I think I'm gonna go all motor though

It is a b16 SIR II

I'd like to do LS/VTEC too but I'd want to do it right and I don't have a lot of money to do that.

I like the 3rd gen Tegs but I rarely ever see my body style anymore which is why I like it so much. I start to like it more and more

This one is 170 I thought. I think it was the SIR that was 160 and the SIR II was 170?

says 170 at 7800 RPM and a redline of 8200

It'll be a 30 hp gain
