needs car audio rehab
...will not stay on. it's blown off three times now and each time i've applied more epoxy. i've tried 1 min and 5 min self mixing tubes and 5 min mix your own epoxy. i've literally lathered it on each time but eventually (sometime between the ride to work and back) it blows off again. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
i've heard of MTs having this problem before but i've had four different MT setups with recones i've done myself and have never had this problem before. it almost seems like the epoxy isn't adhering to the dust cap. i tried roughing up the surface this afternoon and will test it out tomorrow...
if it blows off again i don't know what to do.. is CA glue stronger/better for dust caps?
