My cool box

you guys should give him a break man. i commend him for having the nuts to post up his first box. he knows it looks bad. i doubt any of you will make ******* of the year, so stop tryin' so hard.

Not bad man , not digging the carpet . But not to bad . My first enclosure is still in my mothers garage . I'm gonna have to snap some pics of that ugly bastage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have seen worse 1st boxes....

I think the carpet is what did you in.

Many people here hate on plywood but I still believe I can make a good box out of advantec one of these days I will...maybe my next box.

x2 not bad at all for your first box. youll learn as oyu move on that the box makes the sound, and sooner or later, you'll build a ported box and be amazed at the difference. keep it up, try non backing carpet next time, and see how it turns out

Give me a ****ing break, its my first box. Like you built a perfect box on your first try.
I did. Check my gallery for my first box....But i give you props, atleast u did attempt to build an enclosure. The more u try it, the better you will get. I cant stand to see people pay 100s of bux for an enclosure.

Looks awfully shitty shitty shitty. But you get points for not being lazy and at least trying. Just keep going and use the correct materials next time. If at first you don't succeed...

Don't mind these people. Believe me, that looks like a B&W loudspeaker compared to my first boxes. In fact, those panels are actually touching //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Keep it up, and you'll get the hang of it. However, I must say that the carpet is not good. Not the carpeting job itself, but the actual material. Speaker carpet isn't ACTUALLY carpet, it's more like thick felt.

Box building takes a while to get down and having the right tools and using partsexpress really helps. Keep yor chin up.

Yeah, at least he has the balls to post this. Reminds me of the time someone posted their box with the hole for the sub that looked like shit. Whatever works man. It was your first time, but you have to admit that the carpet is pretty ****ed up. If anything, why didn't you cut those frays off? Come on man, you had to expect this kind of criticism.
