hey guys, i dont know if any of you play internet games on the computer, but i do... somehow my computer got infected with a key logger.. a key logger is a program that "logs" your keystrokes, hence the key logger.... it gives someone the information you typed into thier computer, allowing them to freely take whatever they want of yours. anyone know how you would go about getting rid of one of these? also, the game i play lists the ip of the person who logged onto your computer last. the address is ip68-13-166-15.om.om.cox.net.... if anyone can get any information about the owner of that ip adress id appreciate it

Theres a hundrad different ways to find out what it is... and where it is.

What windows are you using?

Check to see what programs are in the start up click Start, Run type "Msconfig" and click startup. uncheck ANYTHING you dont know what it is (it wont hurt a single thing if you uncheck everything... so if you want you could do that)

IF you have windows nt/2000/xp do ctrl alt delete and see what programs are running in the background.... locate which one it is.. boot in safe mood and delete.

I mean I could keep typing different ways to locate... but try them.
