The amp was secured and the battery was in a marine box that was secured to the box, but the inmpact just caused the marine box to break in half i guess and the box got mutilated so thats why the amp didnt stay put.

**** that sux that your back is hurting, you really should go to the hospital ASAP and then go to some physical therapy sessions and have some hot therapist give you back massages and then pull down a nice chunk of pain and suffering $$$$...

Sorry for you losing your car and not being able to get to work or school or physical therapy,

they should be hooking you up with a rental car until you can find your new ride in a couple weeks...

And you never send them reciepts of what you paid, always retail prices there man, you will never get your CA stuff at those prices again...Now you have to buy new and that costs allot more & with professional installation and etc... unless your system specifically was insured, I don't think you can get anything for aftermarket equip.

I got a rental car the next day because my job involves my car, Im supposed to keep it until next wednesday but i doubt im going to see a check for the car and or equipment by then so im going to talk them into letting my keep it for another week or so, that way i have time to search for a car instead of being rushed. As for the receipts, the majority was bought new (amp, sub, comps, wiring, etc.) So its still going to suffice considering i still have a btl laying around and a T30001bd at arc if thats the route i decide to go, but i still had a little over 3k in receipts so its all going to work out.

The guy straight said he was going to strip it once the insurance tells them to get rid of it, But the amp that i left was ruined and so was the sub/box. I left my comps/ comp amp and wiring, and h.o. alt all of which the insurance company is paying for. If i can get my hands on anything im going to but its 700 to buy the car back and its not worth it considering thats about whats salvageable in gear.

It's not my insurance it's his, it would be different if my shiat got jacked or i backed into someone fast enough to ruin my trunk but it was mutilated by some retard that they insure. im sure the sub itself isnt in that bad on condition, as long as the motors intact, then who gives a shit, recone it or sell it as a motor so you can recoup something.

The only thing salvageable would be the motor, the cone is folded and the basket is broke in at least one spot. If i dont get a good quote on my equipment from the insurance then ill figure out what im going to do but for now im just going to see what happens. I dont trust insurance companies either but this is the smoothest insurance claim that i've experienced so far, they're giving me over twice the bluebook for my car
