I'm hopeful, The only visible damage was to the exterior, When i got out of the car i was looking in the trunk and was like wtf wheres the big amp? I turned around and it was laying by the guy's car who hit me, i just walked over grabbed it and meanmugged the guy on the last walk back to my car with it just dangling lifelessly in my hand lol

Powermaster only makes lead acid batteries FWIW

Dry cells are like alkaline batteries. Car batteries are lead acid, not dry cell.

He was going pretty **** fast, it was on a highway where the speed limit was 65 and he didnt show much of an effort to stop

Jesus, your car held up much better than mine did when I was hit at a stand still at 55mph. My car looked like an accordian and I took out 2 cars in front of me.........I mean totaled them.

It was a smaller car though. 88 Cutlass Calais.

i was in a suburban behind a parked school bus when i got hit at about 60 mph in the back by an older 90's jeep wrangler and all i got was a whiplash, the guy in the jeep flipped his car, then i pulled over to the side of the road and got out and checked if he was alright

but yea dont let the insurance companies shit you man

I am definately fortunate, State farm is actually making it easy so far, they're giving me $6600 for the car itself which i was surprised since they dont bluebook very high, and im faxing over a little bit over 3k in reeipts tomorrow so im hoping they make that as painless as possible as well

I honestly dont know what his problem was, I think it was a mixture of him not paying attention along witht the fact that he was in his moms car so he was probably speeding. He just kept telling me that he didn't know what happened but he told the cop that he just couldn't stop. He very well could've been drunk but it wasn't the first thing i suspected since it was at 9 am.
