Seems like an interesting way of putting the port in, that is, if it's a slot port. Usually I don't put the top on until last, but thats just how I do it. Makes life alot easier.

Lookin' good construction wise. It would be nice to see some close-ups where two boards come together, just to see how accurate your cuts are.

the box isnt constructed yet and i just fnished the port, i just put the peices together to show what it would look like completed, its not screwed together. i will post more pics in a few hours once i finish

Your comment proved 100% of nothing. Not using screws does not mean that your cuts are straight, that doesn't mean anything at all. Screws are only used to hold the wood together while the glue is drying.
