You know I would think the same thing. I saw a 12w7 with a jl1000.1 in a jeep do a 142.7db in a 1.75 cuft tuned to 33hz I think he said, this past Saturday. never actually seen anybody enter spl contests with w7's before this weekend so I don't have much else to go by. I did how ever also see a dude with a single 13w7 and two what looked to be bd1500's in a neon do a 142.6db sealed so ??. my garage is not attached to my house and the camera is not technically mine, I dont always have access to it.

i agree with ramos tho it may seem like 1.75 cuft would choke a w7 it actually performs quite well in it...ive built the jl spec box and it sounded pretty **** good.

Few things, 80% of the time manufacturer specs. ****.A box designed specifically for the combo/musical tastes would be much better.

Is what you speak the truth?!?! You would think the people that designed the speakers would know a thing or two about the enclousure it belongs in. Now I'm not talking about Super SPL, I'm talking about all around preformance.

Not to offend anyone, but I see when certain people build a box other people critique it overboard. I hate the hatin, I don't want to make any remarks about certain members since it seems like they can't take the criticism. But who cares I only have 100 some posts what do I know about car audio.
