My 95' explorer 2 12" build need suggestions!

lets see, i have a ford 1995 explorer 4 door

-stock motor craft F5DU alternator

-higher end walmart battery, with 1000 cold cranking amps

-big 3, 4 gauge power wire from the alternator to battery, 4 gauge ground(chassis) to battery.

-4 gauge amp install kit from ebay, with a 100 amp AGU fuse

-2 12" pioneer ts-w308D4 subs, 400 watts rms per sub

-Soundstream PCA-1500D amp- 800 watts rms at 4 ohms -bought refurbished from

SOUNDSTREAM PCA-1500D MONO BLOCK D 3000W Amplifier: VMInnovations.com

should i be ok? do they have good refurbished products?

Do you guys think i should make any changes to my setup?

im putting this setup in my car tommorow, i want my subs to play at 4 ohms should i be fine?

how bout a capacitior? should i get one if my lights are dimmings? also i heard they are bad for yours system, if so whats the point of having them?

you cant wire your subs at 4 ohms......you have D4 woofers they can be wired at 2 ohms or 8 ohms. With the amp you listed I would run the subs at 2 ohms.....the amp shouldnt get hot at all either.

He can run them at 1ohm or 4ohm...theyr both d4

man i dont know, i had my subs at 4 ohms final impedance, but it seems like the amp is barely pushin it, my subs dont hit that hard, i have to set the level to 1/2 for it to sound loud, to shake my windows
