My 1st comp today

It was in Jackson Tenn.. the 4th annual carpalooza car show/spl comp.. I did the big 3 this morning and added a new fuse block.. with no different results at all!! but anyways I went with my boys Luke and Cody (MonteCarloPimp from ROE and cdog258 from here) there werent a huge # of competitors.. and there were only 3 classes: Car, Truck, SUV.. no fair but w/e its for fun right!!! I meet cool folks and some guy from sounddpressure forums (whose name I dont remember) SO me and my boys hang back to be measured on the Termlab.. Yes they were smart enough to use a TL.. some cool 35-40 yr old guy hits 153.3 with one 1508!!! at the port LoL.. but you do what you can.. and a few more entry level memphis systems go and hit 130s on the windshield

then my boy Luke went.. he was using a Loaner cd player that skipped like hell and hit a 137.8 on the w/s on tones his Equip was 2 15in A-Bahn Eternals on a Kole Q3000 in a 95 Monte Carlo

The I went.. same eq in sig and hit a 137.7 on the w/s with rear seats up

Then Cody went with his 2 RipHammer 12's on a Ma 1200 amp and hit a 131 in an extended cab f-150.. 4cubes at 35hz

The a frind pulls up.. he just spent 4grand!! on 2 mtx 9500s a Us amps Md1d a box at 42hz and wiring.. We have had a lil local rivalry but I was glad to see him either way.. well he runs his f-150 extended cab and hits 139.2 on the windshield

Then a Grand Am on 20in spinners pulls up with the glass all blacked out and his flamboyant buddie saying "nobodys touchin this man" and he was right.. This GA had 6 diamond d6 15's walled and 4 amps I didnt get to investigate and he hit a 152.9 on the w/s... and the termalab jumped out after about 5secs.. Ill admit he was louder than shit..

overall I was impressed to see the cars and competitors but a bit upset with my score.. I was expecting 140's.. especially when I parked outta the way and was met by a crowd wanting to see my shit and commenting on how loud it was.. the I walked over too the guys and they said 137.7 .. dissappointed but not detoured.. Imma sell soon and rock 2 hdc3's in 5cubes at 38-40hz... and definately upgrade my Electrical.. i was upset with how little the big 3 did

the big 3 isnt supposed to do anything drastic... its just lower resistance for the flow of electrons, what did u expect?

Yea it was weak.. It was a local shop making money off their TL basically..

Hell I thought I was doing better than that.. I had alot of competitors and onlookers say how loud it was and how it was prolly the 2-3loudest car they heard meetered.. Idk what was up

nice fuse block with 250amp fuse

Im thinkin do this... find a new ground on amp..get 2nd Batt, get HO alt.. get HDC3's in 5cubes at 40hz
