The battery that you would need to run to be competitve in StreetA/B. would run in the 3-4 thousand dollar range.

your going to need 3 grand for subs 1-3 grand for a batt 3 grand for amps and about another 1500 for a decent crx as well as another grand in misc wire and connecters.

Terry Brocks, a team mates of mine, runs street a and he runs 2 XXV goliaths 1 dd battery as well as 2 dd 99z10's in his r5ex doing a 157.2.

not cheat to start out doing. plus if you do not know what you are doing then you will blow sub amps and so no. hell even with gut that have been doing it for years and years blow shit up so not to cheap.

just do Bass Race. Theres a class for just about any budget. Its all about control not equipment. Hell even a guy with a Walmart stereo can have a chance at winning the 129.9 class.
