The W0s have been around for probably close to a decade ... Not sure on exact length, but they've been around for a long, long time ...

mines not ported, i absolutely can't fit a ported box into my trunk, unless I did a complete custom fiberglass job, and i really don't wanan spend 600 bucks or more for that.

Well....this is your major problem. that sub LOVES to see ported boxes. It would be in your very best interest to pay 600 to port that. You should have been wiser in your decision of subwoofer to purchase with that car, unless you had a different car and just took it out and put it in the FB. If you port that, you will destroy her!! Im sure you could get a fiberglass enclosure for less than that...just dont paint it or do anything fancy.

P.S.....does anyone know how to do the double, or multiple quotes on here. Because once I hit "quote" it brings me to the advanced screen...so the only think I could see doing is copying and pasting...but i see people like Jmac and Squeak doing multiple quotes on the same post.....???

The 1337 way is just to write the tags manually with the username of whoever you want to quote...

im honestly content with how it sounds now, any louder and it would just vibrate everything in my car (its a ***** am and all the interior peices are shitty flimsy plastic). yes, ive put heavy research into it, and all of the box builders i talked to could not fab a box for that trunk that would be big enough, and my box budget is only 150 dollars.

What do you mean, people saying that it sounds better sealed...because if so....Ive never heard anyone say that you should seal an XXX. BUT since he's complaining that he isnt as loud....porting it would most definitely solve the problem...assuming its installed correctly....
