**** mustang mach3 sound system HELP! with sub install

hey guys i have the mach 460 surround witch of course means i have 2 factory amps, so i am keeping my factory radio for now so i went out and got this product by install edge it is a IEC PSI2 premium system interface, now this thing has wires out the ***, and the manual for it says to of course take the wires for the speakers and match em up and then run your remote from the otherside of this box to the amp and plug your rca's into it, only problem is the f'in colors do not match up with factory wiring! my mustang is an 01 can anyone here help or should i just say f it and replace the radio. i need to know asap as i am working on my car now

you could take a small 12V battery from a portable drill and just test the wires off your car. that is, touch the speaker wires to the batteries terminals to identify which speaker it is and synchronize polarity...

dude honestly I hate those dammn factory premium systems...there are a rats nest of wires...there crossovers everywhere, and everything is intergrated with everything else. the only other way to determine wire color is either look it up on the internet, or go to your local shop....they should have a book in the back called "The Book" it has wire information on just about every car on the road today. other than cutting the plugs,thats your only option...Or get a new HU, and completly by-pass that Mach3 thing./

well i've got a jensen 9410 that has sub preouts on they way but i'm not sure as to when it will get here and i was board and anxoius so i decided to hook it up and now i am just pissing my self off.

wait...thats the best thing, I have messed around with a few eclipse Infinity factory systems, and done some work on some of those Mach3 things...and I hate them with a passion...the best thing to do is bypass the whole thing with new external amps, components, and subs.
