Do you guys think this can be done...

pull the stock subs out of the box,and replace them with 8 inch subs....

i know i would have to do a little cuting and some fiber glass....

To answer your question I think that it can be done and it is a great idea.

Hey you need to watch the impeedence on the stock 460 system. Make sure that the speakers that you select don't over load the system. Also have you seen how little air space there is under that read deck lid in the stock sub box.... roughly about .50 cubic feet....

Yeah but 8 inch subs dont take up that much air space.....

and im planning in using a better amp for the subs.... not the stock amp....
