Multiple subwoofers

I still dont believe you have anywhere near enough airspace for a proper 15 inch enclosure that can get loud.
Agreed. Forget about trying a ported box. Use as much of that 4 cube as you can get sealed and learn to live with it until you get a bigger vehicle.

Yeah that does sound the easiest route. But i did download that box calculator and have punched some numbers. Now the spec sheet says 3.5cube box with 4 4" ports at 18" long tuned to 33hz, i came up with a 3.55 box with a square port 4"x5" and 10" long which tunes to 33.3hz.......will it work or being only 1 port will it create port noise etc?

4x5 is only 20sq in of port. Which at 3.5 cubes is roughly 5.7 sq in of port per cube which is a no. And 4 4" aeros would be 50.25 sq in of port or a little over 14 sq in of port per cube and too much for areo ports.

too small of a port. You will run into compression and port noise meaning you wont get loud and it'll sound horrible.

well you can do a square kicker 12 or 13.5 w7 in the amount of airspace you have if you really dont want to go down to a 12.... Make sure you buy used and not retail price lol.. 350 for the 13w7 and 180 for the L7 12 max, cheaper preferrred those are the upper ranges for minty stuff.

In other news: LOL that JY power kicker L7 vehicle was definitely a mindfk.

Im just trying to make this work because i have this driver and id have to spend money to get anything else. What size port area do i need for a 15? And how is that determined? Whether or not this sub will work im interested in this info

the whole thread has been telling you it wont work ported lmao. You do not have anywhere near enough space to fit enough port area to get a low enough tuning.

In that calculator you see the port per foot, if its a slot or square port try to aim it above 12. Make sure you account in the space that the subwoofer and bracing takes up.
