well thats the thing, im not planning on getting an HO alt since I wont have the car for much longer and all the other stuff I got I can transfer to the next vehicle. Which kinetik would be best to go with in the trunk if i stick with the 90A alt?

if current draw stays constant then adding more batts won't put a much larger(if at all) stress on the alternator.

An hc1800 for the back wouldn't hurt. I don't think you'd really need to go higher than that, other than room for future upgrades.

You'll probably want to put a h.o. alt in your agenda of things to buy, maybe for your next car. 90amps from the alt will have trouble dealing with 3400+ watts.

Thanks...for the next car it will be more sq or sql oriented and only get 2000w total (that includes sub amp and components amp) so it shouldnt be an issue, though I will upgrade the alt on that just in case. I was leaning towards the 1800 as well cos it takes up less space and I really dont have much room in my trunk. The enclosure takes up nearly the entire trunk. Gotta build a rack for the amp and batt so 1800 gives me more room to work with. Thanks everyone for your input.

I would do a ground run of 1/0 ground from the front to rear battery.

I'm confused on how you're wiring it. Are you just doing a run of 1/0 for power and grounding the amp and bat to the chasis with 1/0?

What I'm recommending is doing a run of 1/0 for power and a run of 1/0 for the ground. Forget grounding to the chasis, imo.

If you get a fuse holder that has ring terminal inputs/outputs... you can use the single 300 amp fuse in the rear for input from front battery... AND output to the amps.

Also, you'll need to fuse the 2500.1 separately.

I'll be doing one run from positive on battery under the hood to the positve on battery in the trunk. I'll have a wire from the positive on the battery in the trunk to a distro block and one wire per amp from the fused distro.

For the grounds, the front battery's negative is grounded to the chassis. The trunk battery's negative is grounded to the chassis as well. The ground wires for the amplifiers will connect to the negative on the battery in the trunk.

Would I not need a wire from the chassis to the negative on the battery in the trunk?

Gotcha. As for the fused distro with ring terminals, that will require me to buy one, I got a fused distro block that I plan to use for both amps and another fused distro for the second battery.
