Would this be correct? And would I need the fuse by the battery in the trunk even though the distro block itself will have a fuse?

nice ride.
If only it had spinning hubcaps then it would be perfect.

you need to fuse the wire from the front battery to the back battery at each one battery.
other than that it looks good.

That car have bags on it?
It came stock like that

You def don't need 2 HC1400 for those amps!
I'll be using a stock 90A alt, big 3 in 1/0 and all power and grounds in 1/0. My Treo SSX 1500.1 alone with one 1400 under the hood still had some dimming, and with the car off never dropped below 12V so I would assume two 1400's should be sufficient *crossing fingers* for two amps.

true, but I personally would do an HC 1400 in the front and an HC600 in the back. But we are all entitled to our own opinions.
you realize those batts are rated for the amount of wattage they can supply?

That means that the zx2500 can eat both the batts you listed single handedly.

Two hc1400's sounds good.

You do realize that Kinetik lables there batteries HC600, HC1400, etc. For a reason.

an HC600 is to be used with an audio system of 600 watts or less. HC 1400 Is for 1400 or less.

If you dont believe this go to their website. http://www.kinetikaudio.com

Go to the battery selector calculator.

and type in the following for total RMS

4000- I BET they tell you 2 HC200s

5000-I BET they tell you 2 HC 2400s

600 watts-They will say a single HC600.

With his amps. He appears to have just about the perfect amount of batteries. Maybe he could use a little more.

I'm not tryin to spend too much. I havent ordered the 1400 for the trunk yet, maybe i'll go with an 1800 or 2000, but the 2400 might be a bit much for me at the moment. But if i had the 1400 under the hood, 2400 in the trunk, would it cause damage to the 90A stock alt?

hmmm well spend the extra money, just make sure u have a HO alternator.
well thats the thing, im not planning on getting an HO alt since I wont have the car for much longer and all the other stuff I got I can transfer to the next vehicle. Which kinetik would be best to go with in the trunk if i stick with the 90A alt?
