Pretty good amps, I had a MTX 81001 that was born with about 1800wrms @ 1 ohm, but it got hot @ 1 ohm..

mtx still amkes quality, under rated amps, i ran their thunder elite series amps last year and was very impressed.

MTX amps are just fine. Sure there are much more expensive options, but, the returns are minimal. If you need that extra 5% then fine. Spend 100's, perhaps 1000's more. If not, be happy with your purchase.

I ran a few 4 years ago and had no reason to exchange/sell beyond the fact I was bored.

BTW: Their repair service is top notch (new board for a reasonable price) and technical customer support is good as well.

The higher end ones are phenomenal. However anything lower end from mtx is complete ****.
