mtx amp ftw

becuzz most pepole don.t realy get what the bith sheet says like me my rf amp bith sheet says 1400rms at 14.7 but if my bass is like 3/4 up then my volts drop to 13.v .Which i'm gussing is like 1000watts rms I HOPE!!!Also its with my stock alt which is 90amps

I was running a 92001 3000w rms at 1ohm and the birthsheet has Nearly 3600...like 3587 or something... and my 2 new 81001's birth over 1900 each. one is 1998 and the other 1975 or so..

i even saw a 1200w MTX amp with a birthsheet of nearly 1700. I love MTX amps.. they are very reasonable on Ebay BNIB.. like 275 Shipped for a 81001

How do you figure?
There are many factors that determine the actual output of an amp.

my orion 2500d (2500 @ 1 ohm) put out a clamped 1600 ~. Do not follow

birthsheets. Thats how i figure.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

tru, after rise and other things you will not see the whole birthed rms, or even the standard rms for that fact.. but its the same with ALL amps, not just mtx.. just have a nice charging system and run them under 1ohm.. lol, jk just do wut you want... but i strap my 2 at 1ohm daily

Birthsheets are usless things for the UNEDUCATED consumer.

They still give you an idea as to the power output of the amp. Maybe nothing close to what you may see out if it, but atleast something for comparision from one product to another, no?

I see where your comming from. Another way to look at it is if equiped, is to take a look at the amount of fusing a particular amp has. 120 amps = you can hope for 1200 rms etc.........

not trying to be argumentative, just bored at work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
