MTX 8500 better than a L7.

so im guessing since i been competing for 2 years now and only seen 1 setup besides my last 1 with Resonant Engineering in them. there not good subs n dont hit as hard as all the JL setups that go to these **** comps, cause people think they are GOD!

but nah there the way to go cause u only see them there

I dont understand what you are trying to say....

All the woofer specs in the world are fine. Its real world testing that matters imo.

I've heard the 7500's and they get pretty **** loud. I've heard L7's and they get **** loud.

The 8500's are sleeping imo, and someone hasn't discovered them.

How are they flawed?

Serious question here. Someone said that this was an add for MTX...but there sub didnt do so well in the tests here...that wouldn't seem to make sense.

Yea, in adds the company seems to make their product better, thus a marketing scheme. "Buy me."

IMO, I posted it because I run a MTX MXS 12" and I wouldn't be suprised about the 8500 and the tests they put out.

At the moment I'd compare my sub to a L5.

I never said they werent a good woofer...

I meant to say that look at the people that do db drag. There is a large amount of them that used the l7 in the street classes. There are a very few who run the mtx subs.

Just because few people run MTX subs, doesnt mean they arent great to run them. MTX just redesigned their whole entire line of car audio equipment. I think they did that in 2004. People will probably come around. Just give it time.
