i think im just gonna get 2 15" SX's with an orion 2500d/kicker kx2500.1 becuase alot of people have been saying the 2 15" SX's with 2500w rms VS. the 2 15/18" MT's with 5000 w rms(2 2500d's) would be pointless becuase im not gonna compete and you really cant tell the difference in loudness by the human ear from 2500 to 5000 watts....so i'd be wasting my money. i think...lol

sorry to say but going from 2500 to 5000 watts...you will notice a difference...doubling your power, at least a 1 dB gain.

I've never seen someone who has a MT say they regret it, so take that for what its worth. And lots of ppl would kill to have one, so if u have the means to make it happen, I say go for it.

2k watts on an 18 mt ftw...I got a hifonicsbx2005d on my 15 and it pwns nething around...u won't regret it...tell ur buddy to shut the **** up....the mt will blow u and him away, if u havnt herd one u don't know what ur in for....

First of all, in most cases you WILL notice a difference from 2500 to 5000 watts. When I had 2 HC 15's. I went from 1300 watts on the pair, to around 2500 and it went from loud, to painfully ungodly loud. Therefore IMO 2 MT's with 5000 watts would absoutly destroy 2 SX's with 2500 watts. At least in most cases not considering install, etc...

Don't get me wrong, 2 SX's with 2500 would still be insane. It would get louder then you could probably withstand listening to it. At least thats how my 2 HC's were. But 2 MT's with double the power would be absoultly sickening. Oh and just FYI, the MT's rule with music, at least in my experience. I beat the hell out of mine all day long and it sounds good with no problems.
