MT's for daily?

are mt's a good idea to run daily? im basically going for SPL, i just want LOUD daily bass, and a member on here is selling 2 18" MT's...but im talking with this one guy and he's saying its a waste cuase i cant afford to power them becuase i cant get enough current in my car to power all the amps and basically id have the subs for no reason if im not using them for what they could be used for...my original plan was to get 2 15" SX's and an orion 2500d, then i wanted to get 2 15" MT's with 2 orion 2500d's, which i still want, but i today i found the 18's for sale for less then half the price of 2 new 15" mt's...

he was like people will get just as loud/louder than you using "lesser" subs becuase their's are powered right and blah blah...

but basically i just want REALLY REALLY loud bass that i can use daily. help me out guys lol

I have an 18MT right now and it is perfect for daily. Extermley loud, low bass. If you get the box right, they sound good. They are not SQ woofers by any means, but I would describe it as "SQL" if you wanna go by that term. If you are looking for LOUD daily bass, then get them. They also seem to be very effeicent, in other words, they still get very loud even if you don't have a million watts for them.

2 A3000s on mine

they are not the best heat dissapaiters(spelling?)

i wouldnt put less than 2k daily on one though, just dosent cut it

depends on the classes but 1 18 with the right watts would be better than 2 without good watts

the orion amps are powa hogs

i think im just gonna get 2 15" SX's with an orion 2500d/kicker kx2500.1 becuase alot of people have been saying the 2 15" SX's with 2500w rms VS. the 2 15/18" MT's with 5000 w rms(2 2500d's) would be pointless becuase im not gonna compete and you really cant tell the difference in loudness by the human ear from 2500 to 5000 watts....so i'd be wasting my money. i think...lol
