MT 18 box.

i may be coming across an 18'' MT for a wicked price, so i figured id pick it up.

now, i need to know a little somethin bout a box for it.

should i do....

A) 8 cubes @ 34 hz, w/ 112 sq inches of port, slot ran along the bottom of box (3.75''x30'')

OR

B) 8 cubes @ 33hz, using 3 - 6'' flared aeroports, sub upwards and ports firiing rearward.

or you could always post your own suggestions as well.

do the areo ports man. design it right nd u will be satisifed. not to much diffrence really between the to. good luck

aeroports are out of the question for this build, so now the only 2 options are as follows....

slot port ran along the bottom of box, or dual slot ports on opposite sides of box.(as 80 mentioned)

but designs w/ the woofer facing upwards, both tuned the same (33 or 34)

is there any advantage w/ either design?
