post is full of fail.i heard that hifonics amps have problems overheating when they are mounted on a box.. this true?
ok i just remember seeing a post about it somewhere.. he said something about some kid of legs falling off the hifonics amps in particular.post is full of fail.
An amp may however fail, when mounted on a box, due to the vibration of the box, something in the future may break off and fail, and this is true for all amps
lol thats the same here. the roads are complete shit.I've mounted amplifiers on subwoofer enclosures without incident. I think an amplifier would die from a crappy Louisiana highway way before I would blame subwoofer enclosure vibrations for killing it. I swear, this has to be one of the only states where the highway maintenance guys actually make things WORSE when they patch pot holes.

Those Brutus amps are great little amps. Nothing wrong with them except the mosfets being mounted at 90 degrees to the PCB. Causes the legs to break off from vibration, can cause the amp to go up in smoke when it happens...
