More than 3 amps

Yeah chemmins your completely right. Things i have an idea of i will ask on here, anything else im completely uncertain of I will ask on another site. I bought a relay today but didnt have time to wire it up, had other things to attend to. Will repost when I get it hooked up tomarrow

i wouldn't say wrong. just missinformed. ppl should learn. but find a knowledgable person, even one that can spell, to make sure what your learning is correct. when i first started i read Car Audio and Electronics magaizne, front to back. Crutchfield use to have a ton of info in their own catalogs. Basically any type of car audio related reading i'd do. for some ppl based off their experience they would think that you could just keep going and connecting amps or components to a remote wire because they've done it and haven't had a problem yet. but remember anything electric sooner or later is gonna reach it's limit. take 120v stuff. there's a limit to how many outlets/lights you can put on a run of 12/2 romex on a 20amp breaker.

I have all 3 of mine on the deck , but I also have a .25 amp fuse between the remote wire on the deck and the amps. That's another thing that car audio companies have done away with. Back in the day the remote wire was fused. There was no worrys. If you drew enough current to pop the fuse , you bought a relay. I stick to this thinking to this day. I keep a handful of .25 or .50 amp fuses around and I have a old inline fuse holder from a cb radio. I use it in every install I do. Btw , pioneers are notorious for the remote circuits failing.
