I would think so, all that thing does it lets the amp "see" 12-14 volts which switches it on...you can parallel 100 wires and they will all show 12 volts across them
nooo you cannot just keep daisyin amps. the remote out does have a limit. different decks different values. each amp has a diff draw for the remote turn on too. contact company find out wat the deck can handle then find out wat the amps pull. anything more then 3 i use a relay.
You should use a relay on a fused 5 amp lead. It may sound like a lot of work but it's not that hard. its worth not damaging the remote turn on circuit in the head unit.
correct. just make sure u use the right diagram. i use to have that book. lost it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. what your doing is using the remote wire to kick the relay over to where your using 12v from battery to turn on the amps/processor. think big switch.
That's the reason why people shy away from this site. First people to usually answer are 90% of the time wrong. As in this case, people spouting about something they know nothing about as gospel. Could have wrecked his deck if others in the know, didn't come to the rescue.
