More Power=More Bass?

anyone remember when endofdays wanted a bigger cap for his legacy amp, and he was confused when someone said it helped there mids and highs, and he asked "i thought caps only stored bass energy", i think the bass boost comment might just top that.

200watts is not much unless you're way under RMS.
Do your rear seats fold down? If not removing the rear deck speakers can help, plus removing deadening behind the rear seats...

agreed i had a 2db gain from doing simply that removing the factory "deadener" and removing my rear deck speakers ....

I guess I just wish you could had 200 extra watts and notice a huge difference. If you added an extra 200 watts to your front components(if they could handle it) you would notice a huge difference. But to a pair of subs everyone is telling me you probably wouldn't notice much, if anything...right???

right, if the subs are over about 750 watts

If you add 200 watts to a sub that is rated at 1000 watts you wouldn't notice a difference, but if you added 200 watts to a 500 watt sub you would notice a huge difference.

Id do the big 3 upgrade, its cheap easy and very effective to make sure ur getting sufficient power..

If you want more bass id start playing with:

Box size

Box tuning

Box position

sub and Port orientation

Aeros are known to get a little louder also.

but honestly. dont forget the bling and capacitorz cuz those add mad DBzzz

I was being sarcastic about the bass boost. OK. So don't bring that up. Anyway, you guys can tell him to make new boxes, buy them, and find different tuning options, ect. And im going to get out of this thread. Later.
