not really true but thanks for backing me
nitrous cools the intake air making for a high density air charge------- but it raises combustion temp ---

You Are Correct //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Originally posted by denim the combustable tempature of nitorous is much higher than that of gasoline hence the melting of pistons and heads and rings than is very often caused be adding nitrous to and engine
nitrous isn't the cause of that---------- that stems for not enough fuel for the given air------------ air/ fuel ratio
any supercharger or turbo can do that to a motor----------- matter of fact I just got a bike mag where they incorrect set the fuel ratio and melted a couple pistons in a turbo charger review

Originally posted by denim thats why I will never install nitrous on a mass production motor
you shouldn't anyway if you don't know ---- the effect of air/fuel ratio
also don't install any super/turbo charger or mess with any waste gates --------until you get a better understanding

I do relize that nitrous raises compbustion temp , Just seeing whos sharp here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Gotta head out, give more information later...

first unless the racing chi was for nitrous THAT is a very bad combo as most racing chips advance timing
fuel puddeling in the manifold of a incorrect tuned nitrous/supercharger/turbo sysyetm

will be a fire hazard if a intake value happen to stick open during firing of the cylinder

BOOM

Originally posted by Spddracer Probaby due to pre-ignition basically the cylinder fires before the intake valve closes completely and all the fuel mix ignities in the manifold and bye bye manifold !
could be --------- but the intake damage is really seeming from the stuck valve and the fuel puddling

Ah yes I understand what he did wrong now...thanks Chris.

Ricer war? Nah, doubt it...everyone already knows I can go on and on lol

Originally posted by Spddracer What would cause a stuck valve on new heads ??
high RPM pinching --------an oil issue-------- valve spring pressure issue--------rocker issue
basicly the rockerarm smacks down the valve so fast and hard that in may warp slightly of a split second getting stuck open

or no oil causing a heat buildup and results in the valve expanding

valve spring loss of pressure---
