i know.. my dads shop has a sign that says NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS.. its so the handicap dont go in there and find a reason to sue us. but when normal people ask to use the restroom we let them.. can my mom put a sign up that says NOT HANDICAP ACESSIBLE and not have to change anything?

i just noticed that on the summons to court paper they spelt my moms business name wrong.. its suppose to say Emie's Tailoring but it says Ernie's Tailoring.. can we say thats not us in court or will the court just recognize it as a spelling mistake? haha worth a try?

my dads shop is a garage whre we smog cars.. my moms shop is a little building where she works on clothes.. i dont think the wheelchair prick said anything about my moms bathroom cuz he didnt go in there.. but he is saying the front counter is too high for him to reach and the front door is hard to open when youre in a wheelchair.. what if he didnt have any service done by my moms shop? can he still sue? i think he went door to door and looked for things he could sue for.. but if he wasnt even planning to buy from each shop doesnt that mean he wasnt even a customer?? and if hes not a customer we wouldnt need to accomodate him right?

Just how exactly is your moms shop connected to all these other stores. If they are all connected to together and someone owns the whole complex, then I think the owner of the shopping Complex would be at fault. Im no lawyer though.

The counter at the pizza place that i work at is like 4ft tall, most people have a hard time looking over it. If he didnt go in to the business and purchase anything he is just being a b!tch. I would smack him upside the head.
