how do you think eb games would give you for a trade-in of an original ps2. the only reason i am wondering is because i want to get a slim ps2 for my glove box.

ehhh all the places w/ trade in give you crap, but say you dont want cash tell them you want to buy a PS2 slim, but jsut call them and ask

you'd get around $50 if not less. and if you get cash, it's even less. take the store credit, and just apply that to the slim ps2 price and pay the difference.

but whatever you get in the store...it seriously won't be as much as you could make on ebay...go ebay...most games that they would give you like 3$ trade in will get you like 10 on ebay...working PS2 system would go for at least 50

I think theres a trade in part on thier website that will give you some base prices. I know madden 07 Hall of fame edition for Xbox360 that cost like 70 bucks theyll give you like 30 for. So you can imagine how much your gonna get for your ps2.

WRONG, i check a couple places in town, the price you get depends on the model, the older ones are only worth you wont get more than 30bux for it man. Ive tried

The very last model they made of the big ones are good.

They're as quiet as the slim ps2's, and have the newer, more reliable laser assembly, plus they're the full size model so you can use a hard drive to install games.

The first couple years they made the ps2, tho, they were garbage.

None of my friends who bought their ps2's when they first came out still work right.
