mmats (2 15 inch juggernauts)

Well I am just looking to see how it compares to a mag in terms of output. I know a lot about the output of the 12 inch mags, and I know they can hit some very high Sound pressure levels. Nick hasn't given me any exact numbers on a mag 15, but in a SPL application I wouldn't be surprised if it broke into the 150's with just a very solid enclosure. I am just looking to see what people are hitting with the juggs, and I can call Nick up tomorrow and see what numbers he has hit with a 15 inch mag. I just don't think it would be as one sided as some of you think.

Is mid 140's all people are getting with a 15 inch jug? Or are those just people screwing around who happened to get them metered?
That was $$$$$ girlfriend he is an IASCA judge and she just wanted to enter for the fun of it but that was only with 500wrms to it (phoenix gold amp) forget the model though

Have you ever heard a focking Juggernaut? If not, then shut your mouth... I have experience with both of the drivers in question, and hands down, the Juggernaut has more output than a Mag. Who the fock cares what numbers people are hitting, you make your own numbers with your instalation.

Used to be MMats Dealer;)

I know they are both great subs. I am just looking for a comparison.

Just curious, but do you recall dealer cost for an 18" Jugg? Or 15" for that matter?
The price for these drivers is insane, I would own one if it wasnt for that...
Not off the top of my head. If I did some searching around I could probably find it, but I haven't dealt with MMats in a long time.

no need to get excited there, he's just curious. Now i have a mag in a 3.7cf at 27hz both and my cousin owns a jugg 15.I've seen my cousins jugg hit 154 on the ac.I haven't got my mag metered yet but i did also had my cousins jugg in my car off the same amp i run with my mag(crossfire vr1000d) and the jugg was in a small 2.2cf at 30hz box and the jugg got loud.I wouldn't put my magg against a jugg in a spl competition but i do love the mag and wouldn't trade it for anything, spl is everything to me.

It is all in the instalation... Mark Potts broke 150 with a single 12" Type R. Now, does that mean everyone with a 12" Type R is hitting those numbers? Absolutely not.
With a 12"? It takes a shitload of time, dedication and know how to make the 15" Type-R break 150. I don't even THINK the 12" could break it. I'd put money on that in a heartbeat.

My two 15 inch mag setup never had it metered on the TL but I would swear it was doing mid 140's few DD fan boys listen to it and agreed about my estimation . Now I know that isnt anything to go by but I didnt have enough time to find someone locally with a TL . My box was tuned to 28hz aswell 3.5 cu ft per driver net.
