Mini Suv Enclosure Position/Orientaion

I have no idea what good sounds like to you, you know? Let us know how it goes, it'll be interesting to see.
Ok so I got it pushed back and it doesn't seem as loud.

played lows stronger and more bandwidth up top as well, peaked around the same. Just overall output was much higher hence better bandwidth overall.

thats hella wierd then. Guess each car is different.
thats what im thinking... I could have something to do with the way the Kia is Shaped or the way shape the roof is in the back corner of hatch that meets the roof.

When i did it when to the normal volume i would "demo" at(though i really dont demo) and i could tell there was a difference in performance. Also it made my break light in the window sound like *** lol. So i just moved it back for the time being. I plan to build another box sub up port back or go with 1 18 and keep firing sub and port up. If i do the 18 i plan to downgrade power though. Probably wire up to 1 ohm and find a "efficient" 18 like the FU 750-18 or Sundown Sa18 that way i dont need as much power but keep my same amp

Curious, im just playing around with a enclosure calculator because im bored at work lol... I was trying to come up with alittle something for my DP15. I looked at what IA recommends but it seems really generic. It just says 3-5 cubes net - 80 sq inches of port - 32-37hz tuning.

I know the enclosure size will depend on the power also, but what would be the ideal Enclosure size Net and port that i should be aiming for. I would probably tune 35-36 range like i usually do

4-4.5 cubes, probably 16 in^2 per cube

I am assuming you saying 16" per cube that your refering to a slot port. In this kia i dont have the depth to do a Aeroport and tune it were it want it, but a slot port will work and can tune it were i want it
