Phattony is the guy who went through all the trouble to get a inhuman 15, and then it 'wasn't loud enough'. of course he only found this out after he built the wrong sized and tuned box for it twice. The first time of course he messed it up completly and it wouldn't even fit in his trunk.

What is going on here? Any reason this guy hasn't been banned? This thread is a waste of space and should not contribute to his post count. Poster is obviously a dumbass who can't take criticism and doesn't know what he's doing.

If he's trying to get a laugh out of this, it's really not even funny.....simply stupid. Why, at 21 years of age, do I feel I am more mature than many thread starters here?

Yeah, I screwed up and built the box about an inch too tall; sue me. Second box was calculated incorrectly in WinISD, still sounded amazing. Your point? I have been through numerous subs since then; I just like to try different setups. I didn't get rid of it simply because it wasn't loud enough for me.

I am not embarassed to be affiliated with Mike, he is a great guy. He has much more experience than many of the members on here, having worked for several car audio businesses as well as doing a hell of a lot of pro audio on the side.

Mike is just crazy, and wanted a substage in his truck since it had been so long since had bass. So, spur of the moment he got a pair of Type R's. I planned on making a new enclosure for my 18" Destroyer and we live about 20 minutes apart, he has a workshop and shit so we decided to have a build day. Again, spur of the moment he decides on 11 cubes, it's his truck so you can't get mad at the guy. Making fun of him isn't needed, it was more or less a 'goof' build.

All in all, it was a great day. Nothing went wrong construction wise, and we had a great time hanging out. My box is actually 7.5 cubes, not 4.5 like he had stated; tuned to 30Hz with 111^2 inches of port area. Pictures will be posted once I decide how to cover it, not sure if I want to do plain carpet or have some fun with the paint gun...

Conclusion: Mike's a good guy, and knows his shit; no reason to flame him.
