Doesn't a HUGE box just act like IB? Besides he doesn't have anywhere to mount them IB unless he mounted them IN the floor. ****, thats a HELLA idea, subs IN the floor...

it's a sealed box still, so i doubt it's even using all the airspace in there.

11.3cubes sealed for 2 12s ... wtf ? And last I checked subs can't pick how much airspace it uses ... the builder does that.

i do alot of pro-audio.. it's a pro-audio only term i guess, it's when the voicecoil comes out from around the magnet.
like if you were to just pull the speaker out of the basket.

i guess i could have got me two new type r's, and put them in a 3.5 box ported to 35hz and been like 70% of the people on here.

or i could have spent alot less, had some fun and built a huge box. yeah, i'll take the second option
