Midrange Speakers to Pair With My ID Horns

Can You Hear Me Now?
I'm looking for a pair of good midrange speakers to pair up with my ID Horns. I'm trying to stay with a 6.5" speaker because I do not want to modify my doors to fit 8" speakers. I have been looking at Hertz, Arc Audio, & CDT. Any suggestions to brand and/or model would be awesome.

I would have gone with the ID XS series mids.
I'm running a pair of xs69's with horns right now and it is a very good setup. I've got about 300 watts per side and I've put enough power to them to slightly dim my lights and they take it just fine. I've smelled a coil one time when I was being stupid and cranked what was essentially a sine wave lol. At max volume I can literally scream in my car and just barely hear my own voice crack. Anyway I can't find the specs for the hertz but if they are anything less than 92db effecient I'd say it was a bad choice.

The Hertz are 92db. I would like something even a little higher myself but they are hard to come by unless you are going to use pro audio drivers.

So 92db should work ok. Those drivers have a good wideband response also.

We have crossed them over as low as 50hz @ 24db without issues. To me the sound best x-over at 60hz @ 24db with a decent amount of power on them. On the top end they do well up about 4k @ 24db.

I think you made a good choice.
