Mid woofers

Alright i have been looking for some midwoofers on parts express and madi sound. I just dont know what i want to look for. Im looking for 4 ohm woofers only. Need to be 6 inch or 6.5 inch. Im going to be able to run 80 watts to them. But i just cant figure out what are good speakers the only ones i have found are the Silver flutes but i dont know if they would be loud enough.

So please help me if you can.

Check the sensitivity on them. For mid ranges you want something in the high 80s, or low 90s if possible. This will ensure you get some good output from them if that is a concern. Match that with your needed power ratings and other factors such as high bl factor, low q. And if the ebp is less than about 120-150, should be a decent driver.

Not looking to spend more then 50 on each woofer.

Silver flutes will **** everything in their price range. I feed each one of my pairs around 160watts crossed at 80hz-3800k.. Just be careful they are heavy as fvck and do not even bump the dust cap cause they will cave in with lil to no force at all. That and they are somewhat deep..

not sure yet i found another speaker now to go in the mix....Goldwood GW-6PC-4 6-1/2" Heavy Duty Woofer 4 Ohm 290-307

low q low fs drivers **** for IB applications..

they end up having lower output below 100 and a peaky midrange.

90% or those drivers are made to be ported..

the I'd mids are truly great midrange/bass drivers..

they come in 2ohm as well so you can get 100 or so clean which is ideal for those drivers..

if I'd suggest anything else it would be the Dayton reference midbass/range drivers but they run about 65 per as well..

as far as linearty of the driver and quatitly I'm not sure but the design isn't bad at all..
