So I have a set of Polk DB 6501 components in the front of my Wrangler.
And I have a pair of Polk DB 651s Coaxles ready to install in the sound bar.
Is it worth returning the Coaxles to get a of components for the sound bar? I've been listening to to Polk DB comps in the front and I really don't want any less quality in the sound bar, but with it being behind me will it matter that much?
If it is worth going with components for the sound bar what about going with Polk MM series instead of DB, I've read that they have a richer sound, and I can def agree that the DBs aren't as rich and full as I'd like.
My sound bar in my wrangler is solid plastic, I think it's sealed, would it hurt to flush mount the tweeters in the same enclosure that the mid woofers are enclosed in, I don't think it's airtight, would it mess with the frequencies of either the tweeter or the woofers?
Thanks so much for any input you can give me=) I'm completely new to all this, so any help is appreciated, and even if you don't know about the exact product I'd still like general advice.
I'm going for the best SQ with my fairly low budget. So I can't go with too high of priced components, and even though I'd like something with a little more richness/fullness than the Polk DB in the front, I don't have the time or money to redo the front sound stage. so will the Polk MM6051 blend well with the Polk DBs in the front??
Oh, I have a MTX Jackhammer JH805 5 channel amp that I'm running my system on, And I'm going with dual JL Audio 8w3v3-4 8" subs in a custom enclosure. And I'm running the factory HU due to steering wheel controls, BT connect, Sat radio, remote USB, etc..
