Mid-priced subs for small box

Hey all- nice site you have here to find lots of good info!

I'm in need of some opinions on what subs I should look at for my 2002 GMC 2500 Crew Cab pickup. I'm currently running an old set of JL Audio 12W3's and one of them is toast as of tonight. I'd like to hear suggestions on what will hit at least as hard as my 12W3's in about a .75 cu foot box. I know the box size limits a lot of choices and probably knocks the DB down a lot, but I don't have much room behind the back seat!!

Each sub will be pushed by an Xtant 121M at 250 watts. (2ohms)

Some I have considered, but haven't heard:

-Phoenix Gold Ti's

-JL 12W3V2's

-Xtant

Looking around the $200/each range. I don't need to win any competitions, just need a decently loud and reliable setup!!

kicker solobarics can use very small enclosures...but you would need to reshape the hole. Either the l5's or l7's could probly hit as hard as your jl could. They probly won't produce as good of sound quality but they sure hit quite hard.

i am pretty sure that the xtants need a decent size enclosure to sound good. if you were happy with the way that your W3's sound, you will like the way the the W3v2's sound. they are able to run in samn near microscopic enclosures. i dont know about the PG's.
