mid bass drivers

my head unit is a low line sony. might exchange it with a clarion. i have 2 clarion decks on the way.

my problem is i have no good mids at this point. my bass completley drowns it out.

Reason I ask....from what you've posted so far, I think you are going about it the wrong way and are going to end up with worse performance than what you intend.

I think purchasing a pre-built comp set would be in your best interest....and you can find some decent sets for reasonable prices.

you can get some cheap Phoenix Gold comps at a lot of places. The octane comps are about 45-50 + shipping.

Cadence has some low priced comp sets too. They don't sound bad for the price.
