Mid 80s Car Help

[Mitchell Fosgate III]

I have a mid 80s car using period correct head unit (mainly to keep it looking correct), car has 4 speakers (LF/RF/LR/RR), but the radio only has 6 wires out (+ for each speaker and a - for the left side and - for the right side). I installed modern speakers, and want to add a sub that I have laying around.

Here is my dilemma....

Radio out has 6 wires, LOC takes 8 wires in. Do I simply split say the left negative and hook it up to both the LF and LR negative input on the LOC and then do the same for the right side?
