Miata and a Sub?

Is it Possible to put a 12 or 2 in a miata i have looked at them for sometime but when i read websites they talk about not being able to and putting 8s in........it seems that cutting out the trunk would give room for even 2 somone plz fill me in tell me what u guys have seen.........................i ask because im gonna be buying a car for around 10-13k and im trying to deceide what to get so if u have any opinions there all are welcome

blaupunkt has some new subs call saucers,they are only about

3 in total top to buttom. truckini mag has a small ardicale about

them they won some type of awards for them .and they said the

subs sounded great. they come in 10&12 in sv coils 200rms

and 12&15dvc at 400&500rms..

A friend of mine drives a miata, he has dual 10" in the back I believe...

I used to have a Fiat 124 Spyder (yeah yeah - it was free! Leave me alone) and I put two 10's in there.

go to http://www.sounddomain.com and search by vehicle for a mazda miata and you can view pics of some installs and other mods!

There are custom fiberglass boxes that hang over the rear shelf in the Miata that will house 2 8" subs right behind the seats. This will force you to keep your seats all the way forward though.
