Metered my electrical system in my car... Advice

Accord 2004 V6SO this is what I got at Idle running cold...

Amp and Hu: JL e6450 (450 watt) with Eclipse HU, 4 speakers and one 10" sub.

Car Off: 12.83v

Car On all systems off: 14.39v

Car On Amp on at 80% volume, Hids ON, Rear Defroster On, AC On: 14.01 Volts

Is this ok? Because I want to add another amp (class A/B) for the sub only and wire my front speakers bridged I was looking at a Rockford Puch 3001 wich does about 350 watts @ 2 Ohm... I belive that will be a lot more power than I need... and I am afraid to screw my electrical system.

Seems perfectly normal.

Your idle voltage is determined a lot by where your alt's regulator is set...

You will be fine. Do the Big Three and it should be allright.

I had drops below 10v before I upgraded my alt, off 1200w though...

About the amp wich one would you choose to drive a 2ohm sub 10 at 200 - 250rms?

4Ohm DVC, so I need an amp that can handle a 2ohm bridged or a 1 channel mono
