Memphis VS. Pioneer

Alright so, I've decided on pioneer amps and mids for sure, but I'm undecided on my subs.

I was set on the Pioneer champion 12s, but I was advised to go with the Memphis M5 12s instead.

How do the M5s compare to champions? The M5s definitely LOOK beefier.... haha

Keep in mind I'll be paying 350 each for the M5s if I go with them, and 250 each for the pioneers.

(They are going in the back of an extended cab Dakota.)

Why the M5s? The pioneers specs are better, and they are cheaper.

like most things mate, you'll get what you pay for. if it's cheap there is usually a reason for that.

to look at it, it's a better made sub......... better quality build ect. either way both are mid-range subs

meh, it looks a lot better built, decent basket, magnet on show, decent terminals, and actually rms rating..... the previous model of the pioneer was the tws307d2/d4 and I sold a lot of these subs, pretty much all of them were over drivin and blown after weeks from customers cranking them and expecting more from them.
